Ministère des Transports - Emergency Procedures Manual
This project involved developing a workflow-oriented emergency procedures manual for the traffic tunnels underneath the city of Montreal. The resulting web application was faster to use and easier to maintain than its printed predecessor, while providing context specific maps and emergency procedures based on the event that occurred (traffic accident, system failure, etc.) and the event location in the tunnel system. This project was completed using HTML, CSS, and Javascript.



www.KidCreations.ca - Automated Publishing & Online Catalog
The goal of this engagement was to create a database-driven website where new craft projects could be added without any HTML knowledge. This system provides automatic categorization of craft projects, automated RSS/XML feed generation, post-dated publishing capability, automated pagination of instructions, and customizable information sidebars. This project was completed using ASP, MS SQL Server 2000, Javascript and HTML. All template graphics were created in-house.



Department of Management Science - Production Scheduling
The goal of this engagement was to design a database using Microsoft Access to perform production scheduling for a commercial meat products factory This work involved developing GUIs, tables, and queries to implement a production scheduling algorithm developed by a UW professor. This assignment was completed using MS Access and Visual Basic.



Barsalou Auger - Network / Website Design
This project involved arranging internet connectivity and email for the head office of this law firm, along with North American dial-up access for use during frequent business travel. Remote access to email was necessary, along with the installation and configuration of an internet router in the head office. Furthermore, a corporate web site was developed, and hosting was arranged and managed by simbolo on behalf of the customer.



whois.simbolo.ca - Multi-registrar WHOIS query with web-based interface
This project demonstrates how simbolo technologies can provide a web-based interface to a command-line application, and provide unique keywords based on a visitor profile to trigger relevant content-based advertising.
